Frequently asked questions

General

Can anyone sign up?

Yes. Both brands and creators can create an account directly — no invite or code is required.

What is a Brand Kit?

A structured object attached to every campaign: approved hooks, calls to action and hashtags in Arabic and English, a do-and-don't list, per-country compliance flags, and a time-bound usage licence for the brand's assets.

Which platforms work today?

YouTube views are verified automatically through the official API. Snapchat is verified manually by our team. TikTok, Instagram and X are pending platform approval.

Arabic or English?

Both, fully — the product is built right-to-left from the ground up, and every screen is available in Arabic and English.

Which countries?

Roya launches in Bahrain. Saudi Arabia is next.

For brands

What does it cost?

Your campaign budget, plus a platform fee on what creators actually earn, plus Bahrain VAT on that fee. See the full breakdown on the payments page.

Do I get unused budget back?

Yes. Whatever creators don't earn — budget and the matching fee provision — is refunded to your funding source at settlement.

How do I know the views are real?

Views are verified through the platform's own API where available, or reviewed manually by our team. Every clip shows its verification status and its fraud-check status.

What stops a creator posting something off-brand?

The Brand Kit's do-and-don't list, mandatory disclosure, and a platform-wide blocklist on alcohol, gambling and adult content. You also review every submission before it's final.

How do I pay?

By card, Benefit, BenefitPay or Apple Pay, through Tap Payments.

Do I get a VAT invoice?

Yes, carrying your commercial registration and VAT number.

For creators

Does Roya take a cut?

No. You keep 100% of your earned rate.

When do I get paid?

Verified views accrue daily. Each day's views become payable 72 hours later, and you can request a payout from your payable balance at any time.

Do views before I submit count?

No. Views count from the moment you submit the clip, never before.

What if my clip is rejected?

The brand must give a written reason. You can appeal, and an overturned appeal restores your earnings.

Who owns my post?

You do. The licence you accept only covers the brand's assets, for a fixed period — it never applies to your own post.

Do I need an advertising licence?

Not in Bahrain at launch.

How old do I have to be?

18 or over.
